Join us on June 2 at 7:30 a.m. at the Watershed Center for our Monthly Meeting

Eric Fuselier will present “The Importance of Species Selection for Improving Stormwater Quality with Native Plants” at our Monthly Meeting on Friday, June 2, at 7:30 am at the Watershed Center.

Mr. Fuselier works with engineers and landscape architects to select native plant species for rain gardens, bioswales, detention ponds, and stream banks. Eric often utilizes current research in phytoremediation by selecting species that have the ability to facilitate the breakdown of contaminants commonly found in stormwater runoff. Eric also serves on the Missouri Prairie Foundation’s Grow Native! committee, as well as the board of directors for the Beaver Watershed Alliance in Northwest Arkansas.

Megan Terry with the National Weather Service will give an update, and meeting attendees are also encouraged to share brief updates!

Meet us at the Watershed Center, 2400 E Valley Water Mill Road, Springfield, MO 65803
