On Saturday, we had the chance to open the Watershed Center up to the public, our supporters, and friends for a morning of family fun! The Department of Conservation gave fishing demonstrations and lessons, Bull Shoals Field Station did Dutch oven cooking demos, Outdoor initiatives did backpack cooking classes, Stream Team showed off some creek critters, trails were open for scavenger hunts and prizes, popcorn popped, root-beer poured, and a few of our water-loving fiends picked some acoustic tunes inside the building. It was a really great time for volunteers and staff to connect and have fun together and for families and children to get outside on a gorgeous fall morning. Thanks to everyone who made the event possible! Please check out our pictures on Facebook, and while you are there, like our page! Click here for pictures!
