Residential Advisors from Missouri State University accomplished a great deal during their annual Service Day. Over 40 students participated in this volunteer effort at the Watershed. Teams of students worked on a variety of projects. Students improved the trail, built a paver pad for a tool locker, dug foundations for two chimney swift towers, stained cedar used for the chimney swift tower construction, and also edged and mulched the rain garden border. An impressive amount of work was accomplished in one day thanks to their hard work. The Watershed Center staff was continually impressed by the students’ work ethic, eagerness to help, and their sense of humor. In addition, Dan Schaff deserves a big thank you for leading the effort to include the Watershed in the MSU Service Day.
