This last Saturday we had the honor of of hosting two hard working groups of 30 total students at the Watershed Center for a workday. The day started out cool and rainy but quickly turned into a beautiful and sunny fall day.  Missouri State University’s Outdoor Adventures did a tremendous job doing some repair work on our trails by hauling gravel from the creek to fill in bare and muddy patches. Evangel University students worked on multiple projects around the Watershed Center for their “Make  A Difference Day”. Sections of our trails received a fresh coat of mulch. Our rain garden also received a mulch make-over as well as some weeding.  The spring side learning station and many of our educational signs around the

park were scrubbed clean of dirt and algae. Many bags of trash were picked up, sheds cleaned and organized, and trails pruned. The day was a success! Much thanks to these students and all their hard work.
