This past weekend we had four amazing Missouri State University students from the Residence Hall Association come out for 4 hours to The Watershed Center to help with some much needed trail work. It was a beautiful sunny spring morning and it was really nice to be outdoors after our long cold winter! After a short hike on our trails to investigate what needed to be done, the MSU students hauled gravel from a gravel bar in our stream and filled in some of the muddy patches along our trails. They also helped apply a sand-and-glue mixture to one of our bridges that tends to be a little slippery when it is wet. We really appreciated having the RHA group come out and volunteer. They were a great group and I truly enjoyed having them out.
