Starting this past Monday, we have had volunteers busting it out here at the Watershed Center all week! Our brand new shiny building is slowly becoming less new and shiny. Luckily, we have tons of dedicated volunteers to brighten her up! On Monday, about 70 students from Missouri State University came out in two shifts to scrub/spray/and clean the C.W. Titus Education Facility inside and out. Students removed grime from the front of the building, pulled weeds, trimmed bushes, and swept cobwebs! The place looks great! Today, our dedicated interns put in some last minute elbow grease before the summer ends on Friday. They cleaned the inside of the building and pressure washed some un-scrubbable spots outside. Friday, we will bring it home with some stain application, concrete polishing, and there will even be a Jordan Creek cleanup in the morning! I can certainly say that School is back in session and the volunteer work days have been majorly successful so far. Next week, we host the United Way Day of Caring again with City Utilities staff and we will hopefully knock a lot more off of that to-do list!

Thanks to all of you that help us keep the dream alive out here, and we will see you soon!
