Sustaining Sponsorships

Your support will allow
us to keep up with increasing demand for high-quality,
experiential education focused on water resources

WHAT IS A WATERSHED SUSTAINER?

Watershed Sustainers are a dedicated family of water
warriors who support clean water with automatic monthly
or yearly contributions through their bank accounts, debit
cards or credit cards. Sustainers provide WCO with a
reliable stream of support for projects and education to
sustain and improve the water resources of Springfield and
Greene County.

WHY BECOME A SUSTAINER?

Becoming a Sustainer is the most simple and effective
arrangement for both you and WCO. We don’t have the
resources for membership drives and mailings, and you
don’t want to fill out another form every year. It will
require no further effort from you, but you still have the
power to change or discontinue your contribution at any
time. Plus, spreading out your contribution throughout
the year is easy on your budget and provides WCO with
a reliable stream of resources so we can continue to grow
and pursue our mission.

HOW ARE SUSTAINER FUNDS USED?

Sustainer funds primarily support Watershed Center
education and outreach efforts. Your support will allow
us to keep up with increasing demand for high-quality,
experiential education focused on water resources and help
create a generation of people in Southwest Missouri with a
greater understanding of what makes water dirty, and how
to keep it clean.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

• A healthier community
• Recognition on the Sustainer List at the Watershed Center
• A WCO Sustainer vinyl decal
• A WCO Sustainer stainless steel pint glass or coffee mug

HOW CAN I BECOME A SUSTAINER?

WHAT IS A BUSINESS SUSTAINER?

Watershed Business Sustainers are a dedicated group of local businesses who support clean water and give back to the community by automatic monthly or yearly contributions.  Business Sustainers provide WCO with a reliable stream of support for projects and education to sustain and improve the water resources of Springfield and Greene County.

WHY BECOME A BUSINESS SUSTAINER?

Becoming a WCO Business Sustainer allows you to invest in clean water which drives the local economy in many ways, and to show your customers that you are involved in the community and conservation. Being a sustainer provides WCO with a reliable stream of revenue necessary to advance the mission and a predictable line in your budget. We don’t have the resources for membership drives and you are probably often asked to assist non-profits. This simple arrangement allows us both to do what we do best more efficiently.
