Recap of Our Integrated Planning Field Day 2024
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting an insightful and engaging Integrated Planning Field Day at the scenic Fellows Lake. The event brought together key community leaders from the City of Springfield, Greene County, James River Basin Partnership, Watershed, Ozark Greenways, and City Utilities to discuss the progress and future of the Integrated Plan.
A Day of Collaboration and Connection
The field day was as a fantastic opportunity to connect with community partners. Fellows Lake provided the perfect backdrop for discussing how Springfield’s Integrated Plan aims to balance the needs of infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and community growth. We recognize that it takes collaboration across all levels of government and civic organizations to bring this plan to life, which is why events like this are so important.
What is the Integrated Plan?
Springfield’s Integrated Plan is a strategic initiative designed to address pressing environmental and infrastructure challenges while ensuring sustainable development for the community. The plan takes a holistic approach to managing water resources, reducing pollution, and enhancing the city’s overall quality of life. By collaborating with leaders from various sectors, the Integrated Plan keeps Springfield vibrant, resilient, and ready to tackle future challenges.
